EFLM-ROCHE AWARD FOR LABORATORY MEDICINE

    Dear All,

    It gives us great pleasure to inform you that Prof. Vic BLATON – former FESCC and EFLM President – has been selected to receive the 2013 EFLM-Roche Award for Laboratory Medicine for his unique contribution which significantly impacted the profession at scientific/clinical/educational/quality and organisational level and supported the promotion and understanding of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine throughout Europe.
    The award will be presented on Sunday 19th May, during the Opening Ceremony of the 20th IFCC-EFLM EuroMedLab Congress, to be held in Milan from 19th to 23rd May 2013.
    We take this occasion to thank you all EFLM National Societies that presented or supported this nomination.
    I look forward to meeting you in Milan and am sure that you will join with the EFLM Executive Board in congratulating Professor Blaton for this important recognition.
