Notice of opening of the first cycle of external quality control in 2013.

Dear CSMBLM members,

Since November 2013 was announced as the opening of our first cycle of external quality control, we would like to inform you about the dynamics of its implementation.

Belated sample orders and moved the dates of their delivery to the end of November and beginning of December.

All laboratories participating in our program of external quality control, are to be delivered one shipment of control samples according to the modules for which they signed up. Depending on the distance, control materials should be received by the 9th December ot latest at the 11th December 2013. Scheduled time for registration of your results is from 9th to 20th December 2013. Subsequent result entries will not be possible. Processing of your results will be available in the first half of January of 2014.

As we are in the last quarter of the year and it is planning period of orders for the next year, we would like to inform you that during of 2014 the national program should offer the same modules and tests in three cycles. It is only after the completion of the processing of the test results of the upcoming cycle that all necessary information and guidelines for further planning of external quality control center shall be obtained. However, we can announce the inclusion in pre-analytical and post-analytical phase of laboratory work in a national program of external quality control which does not require additional funding.
