Elections in CSMBLM
Dear CSMBLM members,
We would like to inform you that on 26 May 2012 Electoral Assembly of CSMBLM was held at which a new leadership of our society was chosen, that is, members of CSMBLM bodies. The new president is Ana-Maria Šimundić, Assistant Professor, Daria Pašalić, Assistant Professor, is the vice president, Renata Zrinski Topić, PhD is the secretary, and the treasurer is Adriana Unić.
Members of the Supervisory Board are: Željka Bukovec Megla, Nevenka Mavrin, Ilza Salamunić, Nevenka Šurija and Jadranka Wagner. The Court of Honor will meet the following members: Karmen Bilić, Slavica Dodig, Štefica Dvornik, Edi Perić and Vatroslav Šerić.
Congratulations to the newly elected leadership, and we wish everyone much success in your work!
Besides conducting elections for CSMB bodies, during the Assembly two important decisions for our profession were adopted: it was decided to rename the society from CSMB to CSMBLM (Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine) and a new statute of CSMBLM was adopted.
At the general meeting the proposals for medals and awards assignation, for 2012, were adopted and the following honors and awards awarded: CSMBLM lifetime achievement award -Dubravka Juretić, Assistant Professor, "Marijana Fišer-Herman" medal -Slavica Dodig, Assistant Professor,"Ibrahim Ruždić" medal -Branka Kunović, PhD, CSMBLM charter -Aida Nazor. Ana-Maria Šimundić, Assistant Professor received the annual prize for scientific research in 2011.
